A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their independent professional activity:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please use our returns portal at https://semode.de/apps/returns . There you can easily start the return process and complete all the necessary steps.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Please note that we do not accept returns of items that have been washed, worn, or have their labels removed.

Consequences of the revocation

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you (excluding delivery costs or any additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than our cheapest standard delivery option) without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of withdrawal. For this reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. The goods must arrive at our premises within 14 days of notification of the return.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing their condition, properties and functionality.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

Please note that you can only exercise your right of return for products that are returned in the same condition in which you received them. For example, if items do not have a tag with the appropriate seal or show signs of soiling such as makeup, perfume, pet hair, sweat odor, or perspiration stains, you will not receive a refund.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of conclusion of the contract, are not citizens of a Member State of the European Union and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.

Purchase of goods that are specially produced or imported for your order.

Custom-made (personalized) items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Promotional vouchers and coupons

For returns where a promotional voucher or discount code was used, certain refund conditions apply. The refund amount is calculated based on the minimum order value specified for the voucher code. If the returned items reduce the total order value below the minimum order value of the voucher code, only the discounted value will be refunded. Additionally, shipping costs will be deducted from the refund if the order value after the return no longer meets the minimum order value for free shipping.

1) Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging, including all accessories and packaging materials. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage by using suitable packaging.

Please note that you can only exercise your right of return for products that are returned in the same condition in which you received them. For example, if items are missing tags or have soiling such as makeup, perfume, pet hair, sweat odor, or perspiration stains, you will not receive a refund.

3) Please note that the aforementioned points 1-2 are not prerequisites for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

• No acceptance : Returns made without prior registration and without the official return label will not be accepted by us.
• No refund : Since the return is not recorded in our system, we cannot assign or process it, which means that no refund will be issued.
• Delays : If the package does arrive at our office, it cannot be processed due to the lack of registration.

To ensure your return is processed correctly and quickly, please always register it beforehand via our online portal and use the provided return label. This helps us process everything smoothly and get your refund to you as quickly as possible.

To ensure your return is processed smoothly and quickly, using our official return label is essential. Using your own return label may cause the following problems:

1. No assignment : Without the official label, it can be difficult for our warehouse team to assign your return to your customer account. This means we cannot process the return.
2. No refunds : Returns made without our official return label will not be accepted . In such cases, we cannot issue a refund.
3. Liability for loss : If you use your own label and the shipment is lost in transit to us, you, as the customer, assume full liability . In this case, no refund can be issued.

Returns due to non-delivery:

Should a shipment be returned to us due to an address error or failure to collect it, we will gladly resend it to you for €6.99. Alternatively, you can cancel the order – in which case we will deduct a small processing fee of €10 from your refund.
